Saddle Fitting Clinics
To Host:
Clinic 1
- 1 or 2 days
- 10-15 people
- location or facility that is out of the weather
- 50% deposit paid to Winn Training 60 days in advance
- Cost: $350 for up to 2 horses - $50 per horse after that
- clinic is a 3 hour block with 5 people in each 3 hour session - 3 sessions per day
- Start: 8am - 11am, 11am - 2pm, 2pm - 5pm
- Host or hostess attends for free and can have up to 4 horses fit for free
Clinic 2
- 1.5 hour auditing session
- 1 horse fit and an educational seminar with questions and answers
- if you choose only this option, you would pay for wendy's time and travel to your location
- $50 per auditor - unlimited attendance
Virtual Saddle Fitting
Here is what you can generally expect with a virtual fitting call:
Setting Up
- Receiving a link or invitation to the virtual meeting.
- Downloading and installing any necessary software or applications (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, Facetime - what type of phone do you have?)
- Testing your audio and video equipment before the call.
- Ensuring you have a stable internet connection.
During the Call
- Introduction and greeting from the host and other participants.
- Participating and having a helper to hold the horse
- Have saddle, tack , pads available for overview.
- Have a lunge line and work horse saddled very first so wendy can access the horse under saddle.
- Opportunity for questions and answers.
- Ending the call with closing remarks and next steps (if applicable).
Considerations
- Finding a quiet and well-lit location for the call.
- Muting your microphone when not speaking to reduce background noise.
- Being aware of your background and surroundings.
- Dressing appropriately for the call, as if it were an in-person meeting.
- Being punctual and joining the call on time.
Vet Lunch and Learns
- Wendy travels to vet to share knowledge about trees and saddle with vets - bet students at college
- horses will need to be provided
- measuring trees for vets will be available for purchase and a Referral list of saddle companies
- Referral of saddle companies
- Referral of Saddle pad companies with tutorial
- Educational and Research opportunities available
Saddle Fitting Clinics with Wendy and DVM
- 10 - 20 people - 2 days
- location or facility out of the weather
- 50% deposit paid 60 days before the clinic - No cancelation or refund one travel is booked
- $400 for 1 horse
- $100 for extra horse after booked
- clinics - 4 hour blocks: 8am - 12pm, 12pm - 4pm, 4pm - 8pm
- 6 people and up to 12 horses in each 4 hour block
- Auditors possible for $200
- host or hostess Free and can have up to 3 horses evaluated
