I come from a long line of Western horsemen. Horses weren’t something we visited on weekends. They were part of how we lived and worked.
I started riding young, stayed with it through competition, and learned more from losing than I ever did from winning. Over time I stepped into coaching, then consulting, and eventually worked with thousands of horses across different programs and disciplines.
What I kept seeing never changed.
Capable riders putting in the effort and still leaving the arena unsettled. Not frustrated enough to quit, but not confident enough to trust what they were doing.
Money spent. Time invested. Results that didn’t hold.
The issue was never as simple as the horse or the tack. It ran deeper than that.
